Mid Cheshire Line Music Trains
The next Mid Cheshire Line Music Train takes place on Thursday 23rd April 2026, travelling from Chester to the Golden Pheasant at Plumley with Bandarama, a duo playing classic tunes from the golden era of the 60s and 70s. The outward train departs Chester at 18:56, arriving Plumley at 19:35, with the return leaving Plumley at 21:57 and arriving back in Chester at 22:38.

Hare and Rabbit themed poetry workshops coming soon!
Community Rail Network have kindly provided funding for some children’s poetry workshops based on Hare and Rabbit: Travels on a Train. This book, funded by Mid Cheshire CRP, contains a series of delightful poems and illustrations by Altrincham based writer and artist Pam Bradshaw about the rail adventures of best friends Hare and Rabbit.
