Railway 200 celebrations are well and truly underway along the Mid Cheshire Line. The volunteers have been putting up themed bunting and planting flowers in the red white and black colour scheme.

To celebrate Railway 200(that’s 200 years of the modern railway) Mid Cheshire CRP are organising a series of station-to-station relay walks closely following the Mid Cheshire Line from Manchester to Chester.
Steam Locomotive on the Mid Cheshire Line
On Sunday 2nd March a steam locomotive drew flocks of admirers along the Mid Cheshire. The Loco was heading to Chester before branching off towards Holyhead in North Wales. The excited onlookers were delighted to capture this rare and special event.
