Stockport Railway Station

With a thriving modern shopping centre, an historic core, and a family leisure complex located next to the train station, Stockport is a town of contrasts with plenty to offer.

The railway station is only 10 minutes walk from Edgeley Park, the home of STOCKPORT COUNTY FC and SALE SHARKS, and is very well connected, with direct regular services to London, the Midlands, Wales, Yorkshire and other parts of the country.

The town is home to a number of award winning visitor attractions including the PLAZA SUPER CINEMA AND VARIETY THEATRE, AIR RAID SHELTERS, STAIRCASE HOUSE and the HATWORKS whilst the TRANS PENNINE TRAIL goes into the heart of the town centre.

Stockport Railway Station has won a number of awards in the Cheshire Best Kept Station Competition.
