Ride the train to Northwich then take a 15 minute walk to Vickersway Park and discover the wonderful railway poster art of acclaimed Chester artist, Nicky Thompson.
If you are travelling by train from Chester, you will see the park to the right, from the arches, as you approach Northwich railway station.
It is the pride and joy of Northwich Town Council who keep it in immaculate condition for all to relish.
Look out for the youngsters enjoying their favourite ice creams or perhaps playing crazing golf or table tennis on the outside table.
And, for those a little older there is tennis and crown green bowling.
But, the star attraction is the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership’s Wonderful Wildlife Activity Trail.
Whether you are a youngster or just young at heart, pick up an Activity Trail leaflet as you enter the park. You can even join the competition to win three family membership to Cheshire Wildlife Trust. Terms and conditions apply.
Or, download the Activity Trail before you visit.
Visit the Northwich Town Council website for more details about Vickersway Park including its opening times.
