Assemble on concourse at front of Railway Station at 2pm ....
Enjoy a guided tour and update on this historic station, where the foundation stone was laid on 1st August 1847.
Will include a fascinating historic time-line stretching from its original builder Thomas Brassey right up to the present day, with large investments which have been required to make it a key transport interchange for Chester and the surrounding area.
Max 30 people per tour.
The Tour guide, John Whittingham, will describe the historic importance of this station, and the current project that is refurbishing and improving the facilities for passengers.
