The Mid Cheshire CRP held a stall in the Shoppers Mews at the Royal Cheshire Show near Knutsford on the 6th and 7th of June.
Volunteers including our CRP directors chatted with show visitors and gave out lots of publicity about what we do including our circular and station to station rail walks and Music Train events. It was also a great opportunity to spread awareness of the Mid Cheshire Line and our work promoting station volunteering
and working with schools and community groups on art projects and rail confidence trips.
Alot of people stopped to admire our Marvellous Days Out poster range. These unique art prints by acclaimed artist Nick Thompson were inspired by 1930s era railway posters and feature stations and places along the Mid Cheshire Line. These are available for purchase
at The Chester Cathedral Shop Chester Cathedral Gift Shop – Chester Cathedral.
Nick has also produced a wildlife range which are available through Friends of the Countess of Chester Country Park Friends of the Countess of Chester Country Park
We hope to visit the show again in 2027 so please do look out for us!
