On 27th March Young people from Cloughwood Academy in Hartford went down to Greenbank station to receive a safety briefing from Community Rail Officer Sarah Muir in preparation for working at the station.
The students led by their teacher Mr Rafferty are keen to lend a hand at their nearest station and along the Mid Cheshire Line.
They met with longstanding Greenbank volunteers Graham and Russell to plan what they could do there and have lots of exciting plans-these include refreshing the paint work, creating art to display in the poster cases and creating a vegetable bed.
We look forward to seeing all the wonderful work the young people complete over the summer and thank them for lending a helping hand!
