The Mid Cheshire CRP organised another volunteer meet up at The Golden pheasant on the evening of Monday 2nd of March to say a big thank you to all the station volunteers who work through rain and shine to keep the Mid Cheshire Line stations looking their best.
A special presentation was also made to former CRP Director Mike Ross. Mike has been involved with the CRP for over two decades and has made a massive contribution through organising and distributing are Marvellous Days out posters and mugs, organising and hosting the Mid Cheshire Line Music Trains and sitting on the board of Directors.
Mike has decided the time has come to hand over these responsibilities so he can focus on other things but we are very grateful for all he has done for the CRP over the years.
Mike was very pleased with his thank you gift which was a one off Music Train themed sketch by Northwich based artist Jim Stanley who has created some fantastic public artworks around the town in his signature monochrome style.
Mike was delighted with his gift and has reassured us all that he will definitely be keeping in touch and will attend our meet ups and other events when time allows. Thank you Mike for your massive contribution to the CRP and we all look forward to seeing you soon!
