CYCLING AND THE MID CHESHIRE LINE

There are plenty of places to enjoy by bike from the Line. It is better to travel with your bike on the off-peak trains (between 9.30am and 3.30pm or after 7.30pm) as it is only normally two bikes per train and this is on a first come, first served basis.

Northern Rail is committed to cycling.
Click here for further information regarding bikes on trains.

Delamere Forest Park offers opportunities for off-road cycling and bikes can be hired by Linmere Visitor Centre from Tracs UK.

The Chester Cycle City website has lots of information and advice for cyclists including a route planner to help you work out different routes to stations.

Cycle GM provides cycling information in the Greater Manchester area including routes and events.
