QUICK LINK - Easy to Read Mid Cheshire Line Train Times from Stockport
With a thriving modern shopping centre, an historic core, and a family leisure complex located next to the train station, Stockport is a town of contrasts with plenty to offer.
The free Metroshuttle bus service, number 300, which runs every 12 minutes, links the railway station with the town, its shopping centre and main attractions. This runs Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm and from 10:30am to 5pm on Sundays.
The railway station is only 10 minutes walk from Edgeley Park, the home of STOCKPORT COUNTY FC and SALE SHARKS, and is very well connected, with direct regular services to London, the Midlands, Wales, Yorkshire and other parts of the country.
The town is home to a number of award winning visitor attractions including the AIR RAID SHELTERS, STAIRCASE HOUSE and the HATWORKS whilst the TRANS PENNINE TRAIL goes into the heart of the town centre.
