NATIONAL COMMUNITY RAIL DAY

19th March 2011

National Community Rail Day celebrates community rail and our local railway lines that form part of the larger national rail network.

On the 19th March the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership will be on Knutsford station promoting the line between 10am & 3pm, talking to people about all the excellent places along the line and offering passengers a taste of Cheshire apple juice from Willington Fruit Farm.

In Mid Cheshire we have a thriving rail service that links all our villages and the cities of Chester & Manchester and the Community Rail Partnership wants to encourage Cheshire residents to use the train and enjoy the attractions and food and drink that Mid Cheshire offers.
