On Saturday 6th August between 10am and 4pm there will be a Station to Station community rail celebration at Chester Railway Station kindly hosted by Arriva Trains Wales.
Chester Model Railway Club are in attendance exhibiting one of their model rail layouts and Ffestiniog & Welsh Highland Railways will be promoting their heritage lines and days out.
Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership will have a stall giving away community rail cotton shoppers and Chester & District Samaritans are offering free cake and promoting their confidential emotional support helpline.
Visitors and passengers can find out more about the history of Chester Station with a hour long guided walk by John Whittingham at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
Mersey Morris Men will also be on hand to entertain people with traditional Morris dancing at 11am and 12 noon.
