Mobberley is a scattered village covering a large area to the south west of Manchester Airport. The station is just over 1 mile from the church and the oldest part of the village, which has picturesque cottages and several pubs. Beside the station there are several railway cottages and the Railway Inn, which serves excellent pub meals.
Mobberley station is a regular winner of Cheshire’s Best Kept Station Awards, thanks to the members of the Mobberley Village Society.
