Anderton Boat Lift
18th June 2017

It is not often that one comes across the perfect Father’s Day present but this could well be one of them.

On Sunday 18 June, Britain’s ‘Cathedral of the Canals’ – the Anderton Boat Lift is offering a ‘Father’s Day’ tour of the Lift, including a rarely-available trip to the top.

If a family of three or more books to go on the tour, dad gets in for free.

The Lift is the world’s first successful boat lift and the tour is a special chance to enjoy and learn about this giant and magnificent example of high Victorian engineering.

Tours run at 10.30am, 12pm and 2.30pm and advanced booking is required.

Tickets cost £10 each.
