The Mid Cheshire Line continues to celebrate 150 Years of Rail Travel by offering 150 passengers the opportunity to travel the line for £1.50 on Sunday 28th July 2013.

This provides exceptional value for those who want to take a day out in Chester, Delamere Forest, Northwich, Knutsford, Altrincham, Stockport or Manchester or simply spend the day on the Mid Cheshire Line taking in the sites.

It is a car free day and a fantastic chance for local people to enjoy a cheap day out by train.

This special Day Ranger Ticket is NOT available on the train or through your local ticket office.

  • This ticket is valid on Sunday 28 July 2013 only
  • Travel is permitted on any Northern Rail Mid Cheshire line service between Manchester Piccadilly and Chester via Knutsford
  • This ticket is not transferable and is issued subject to the National Rail Conditions of Carriage
  • It must be produced on demand to any authorised person
