The Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association (MCRUA) announce their forthcoming public meeting on Thursday 24th October 2019, starting at 8pm, at the Jubilee Room, Stanley Road, Knutsford WA16 0GP.
Doors will open at 7.30pm.
The Jubilee Room is a five minute walk from Knutsford railway station.
Special guest will be Chris Jackson, the regional director of our local rail operator Northern.
All are invited to attend including non-members.
John Oates, chairman of Mid Cheshire Rail Users Association (MCRUA) said:
“The officers of MCRUA have regular meetings with Chris Jackson on the running of the Mid Cheshire Line that connects Chester to Manchester via Northwich, Knutsford, Altrincham and Stockport.
“MCRUA believe Chris has brought a breath of fresh air to Northern’s local management and is very keen to work alongside MCRUA and the Mid Cheshire Community Rail Partnership to make the Mid Cheshire Line a success.
“Chris will be open to questions on all matters associated to the Line and Northern and we will be interested to hear about future changes at our stations, new rolling stock and the franchise’s promise of two trains an hour during the week and an hourly service on Sunday.
“It will be an informative evening for all rail users that use the Mid Cheshire Line.
“All are welcome including non-members.”
