There are engineering works on the Mid Cheshire between Saturday 19 Nov and Thursday 1st Dec 2011 which includes no trains between Stockport and Northwich on Saturdays and Sundays and some late evening services replaced by buses on Monday through to Thursday. There also engineering works on Sunday 4th December.
Details are as follows:
Sat 19th November 2011 - Sun 20th November 2011
Trains will only be able to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport, and between Northwich and Chester.
Connecting buses will run between Stockport and Northwich all weekend.
Mon 21st November 2011 - Thu 24th November 2011
The following trains will be replaced by buses:
2217 Manchester Piccadilly - Chester
2248 Chester - Manchester Piccadilly
2317 Manchester Piccadilly - Chester
Sat 26th November 2011 - Sun 27th November 2011
Trains will only be able to run between Manchester Piccadilly and Stockport and between Northwich and Chester.
Connecting buses will run between Stockport and Northwich all weekend.
Mon 28th November 2011 - Thu 1st December 2011
The 2317 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester train will terminate at Altrincham.
A bus will run from Altrincham to Chester.
Sun 4th December 2011
Buses replace all trains between Stockport and Northwich on Sunday 4th December.
Trains run between Northwich and Chester. The 21.45 bus from Stockport runs all the way to Chester.
