WW1 Roadshow

Lion Salt Works
30th January 2016

Between 10am and 5pm ....

In Conjunction with the Heritage Lottery Fund, the Lion Salt Works will be hosting a major event.

We are asking for members of the community to bring any WW1 Memorabilia associated with the Great War Soldiers and their family who worked at the Lion Salt Works.

This is to enhance a display which will be released in July 2016, commemorating the 100th Anniversary of the Battle of the Somme.

At the Roadshow will be members of the Grosvenor Learning Team and also Nigel – the British Museum 2014 North West Winner of the Marsh Trust Volunteer Award – to help answer any of your questions.

Your support would really be appreciated, as these brave men and women should be remembered
