Wag n Walk - Sponsored dog

Delamere Forest
9th October 2016

Wag 'n' Walk is a sponsored dog walk consisting of a leisurely stroll around the accessible 2.7 mile route in Delamere Forest (postcode CW8 2JD), which meanders through the beautiful shady oasis of the forest as well as taking in the sights of Blakemere Moss (the lake area), following the Blakemere Trail (near the Forest Centre).

A small £5 entry fee will gain you entry to the dog walk which also includes a sponsorship form and a doggy goody bag along with a free parking pass. (There is no minimum sponsorship requirement to take part). Starting at 12 noon, the 2.7 mile route will be suitable for dogs and owners of all ages and abilities and will be followed by a raffle and awards for best dressed, best behaved dogs and most money raised.

This fantastic family day out is all in aid of the NeuroMuscular Centre (NMC) which is a pioneering charity based in Winsford which supports adults and young people with muscular dystrophy from across the Cheshire region and beyond. Over the past 5 years, Wag ‘n’ Walk sponsored dog walk events across Cheshire have helped to raise over £7,000 for our charity.
