"The Lost Red Shoes Cabaret" A fundraising cabaret for Little Pixie Productions.

Little Pixie Productions are going to be doing a cabaret concert to raise some funds, for Little Pixie productions. Please read the statement below, which was recently sent out to their friends and supporters as to why they need the money!!

Little Pixie Productions has called upon their friends in show business to perform with them, and the evening will have singers and performers, who have worked on stage in the West End in London, on TV and film, and, even on Broadway! So, there will be lots of different kind of music and performances, and it certainly promises to be a most enjoyable evening.

"Dear friends and supporters of Little Pixie Productions,
Due to circumstances beyond our control at our storage facility in Derby, a large amount of our props, costumes and equipment have been taken away and destroyed. It’s a very, very long story that has taken us several weeks to untangle and get to the bottom of, which has been exhausting. We’ve had advice from a solicitor but have been advised that there may not be any point spending a lot of our money pursuing the party responsible as their Ltd company has been dissolved by Companies House, and therefore we are unlikely to get anything financial back from them. We are considering the small claims court, although the same thing applies to whether we would get a financial result. While we believe our landlord didn’t act out of malice, he has been very, very foolish and naive and his withholding of key information to both us and the property company he rented from, resulted in our things being taken. We hope you understand that we can’t go in to further details for legal reasons. We’ve estimate that we have lost about 90% of our stock, at a cost of around £20,000 that we have worked really hard to build up over the last seven years and that our set designers and costume makers worked tirelessly to make. Fortunately a few items were stored in other locations; for example about 60% of our Snow Queen show, (which we will have back on the road in late November and December 2016), is safe, although, the 2 main pieces of set, props and lighting equipment will all have to be replaced. While devastated with this loss, Little Pixie Productions will continue to produce theatre work in the future but we need some help replacing items lost in order to do this."  -  Little Pixie Productions
