Tales from the workhouse – Lizzie’s story

This month we welcome Elizabeth Morris.  Elizabeth is a trained actor with a love of history who brings her characters to life through performance.  We will experience the true story of a Northwich Union Workhouse inhabitant, Lizzie Vernon.

All meetings, unless otherwise stated, are held at University Primary Academy Weaverham (formerly known as Wallerscote Community School) on the second Tuesday of the month.

Starts at 7:30pm.

Membership is £15.00 per year.  Meetings are free to members of Weaverham History Society, children and students. Visitors are requested to pay £2 at each meeting.
