Remember Them

Northwich Memorial Court
7th July 2016 - 9th July 2016

An award winning play to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Somme offensive Following a sell-out run at the Harlequin Theatre, The Harlequin Players bring their award winning production to the Memorial Court. The time is 1914 and in a crowded drill hall five innocent lads find the words of the recruiting team inspiring. As hands quickly raise, Bill Gibson, the youngest of the group is not so sure, but urged on by his friends he reluctantly volunteers. When they reach that far and foreign land nothing could prepare them for the horrors they would face. Soon innocence is gone and death is around them. All but one will pay the ultimate price.
