Northwich Art Trail

1st June 2013 - 30th June 2013

Art lovers, for the second year, will be able to follow the ArtTrail through Northwich town centre when over 200 paintings from professional, amateur and student artists will be displayed in the windows of at least 50 participating retailers. 

Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite paintings and there will be prizes for the shop that has hosted the most popular painting as well as the holder of the winning voting slip. 

There will also be prizes and certificates for the winning artists of various categories. 

All the paintings will be for sale. 

On the weekend of Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th June 2013: 

Visiting French artists will be showing their work collectively - at a place yet to be confirmed 

The C-A-N (Cheshire Artists Network) will be displaying their work in a special exhibition aboard one of two narrow boats displaying artwork by the bank at Castle Street Gardens by Town Bridge 

Michael Troy will be working with youngsters to produce banners and colourful fish windsocks. 

 A further narrowboat will display paintings by Bernice, Tony O’Neill, Hilary Nettleton and Peter Twist

There will be also be gazebos on the green showing arts and crafts and the awards to artists will also be presented here on Sunday 30th June at 2.30pm
