Go Over the Edge to End Poverty

St Helen's Church
1st March 2014

Put together a vicar and a congregation who have been long-time supporters of Christian Aid, a church with a tower, and friends from Christian Aid North West with bright ideas and ….. you get a sponsored abseil!

That’s what will be happening at St. Helen’s Church, Northwich, on Saturday, March 1st..

St Helen's Church is hoping for a great event that will attract a significant number of people - those taking part in the abseil, those supporting them and many other people who will be drawn to the event. Not only do they want to raise money for Christian Aid but they also want to increase people’s awareness of its valuable work.

As well as the abseil down the outside of the tower, there will be opportunities inside church to find out more about some of the projects that Christian Aid is involved in.

So, do join them on that day. If you want to participate in the abseil you can find more details of how to get involved by going to www.christianaid.org.uk/abseil or  email:rturner@christian-aid.org or tel.01925 582826. Even if abseiling isn’t your thing, there will still be a lot of things going on. It promises to be a really good day!
