Chester Mystery Plays 2013

The Chester Mystery Plays is an extraordinary community theatre lasting two weeks which tells the greatest stories ever told.

They are only performed every 5 years and people from all over the globe flock to see them.

Iconic Bible stories are transformed into a truly spectacular, dynamic theatrical experience through tales of ambition, intrigue, betrayal and passion.

They are guaranteed to enrapture, astound and delight!

A new script has been commissioned for the 2013 production, and for the first time ever, the Plays will be performed in the Nave of Chester Cathedral, a truly inspirational backdrop.
