Antrobus-based Triumph car club, Red Rose Group, part of the worldwide TR Register Club, will be celebrating its 45th anniversary on Saturday 6 August with a large meeting of its members at Antrobus Village Hall, followed by a road tour.

More than 70 cars and their owners are expected to attend and anyone wanting to admire its range of iconic cars, from 1950s models through to the 1970s, can see them at the Anderton Boat Lift.

The cars will start arriving in groups between 10.30am – 2.30 pm, where they will be displayed alongside the canal.

During the afternoon, the Club will celebrate their anniversary at Antrobus Village Hall with an afternoon of fun and activities, including a cake competition and bring and buy.
