Knutsford is famed for its annual May Day Festival, fine Georgian architecture and contemporary bars and restaurants. It is host to the RHS Flower Show at Tatton Park. Tatton Park is a magnificent Regency mansion set within 1000 acres. Its Italianate and Japanese Gardens are among the finest owned by the National Trust.

The Knutsford Heritage Centre communicates the story of historic Knutsford, its striking architecture and its famous people, such as Elizabeth Gaskell and Henry Royce. The Centre has frequently changing exhibitions and permanently displays the unique Knutsford Millennium Tapestry.
