AUGUST 2019 BUS REPLACEMENTS

There is engineering work on the Mid Cheshire Line during August 2019 ....

From Monday 5th August to Thursday 8th August (inclusive) ....

The 22:01 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will depart Stockport at 23:22 and call additionally at Levenshulme and Heaton Chapel, arriving Manchester Piccadilly at 23:35.

The 22:52 Chester to Manchester Piccadilly service will be bus replaced throughout. One bus will run from Chester to Manchester Piccadilly, stopping to set down only from Knutsford; a second bus will be provided from Knutsford to Manchester Piccadilly.

The 23:41 Manchester Piccadilly to Chester service will be bus replaced throughout. One bus will run from Manchester Piccadilly to Chester, stopping to set down only from Knutsford; a second bus will be provided from Knutsford to Chester.

On Saturday 10th August:

Buses will replace trains between Stockport and Altrincham.

On Sunday 11th August:

Buses will replace trains between Stockport and Chester.

Please note that the bus calling point at Altrincham is Stand A in the bus station.
